Digg Community Sings Queen

Here is an interesting bit of remix for you. Recently a video was posted to youtube, David After Dentist, that took the world by storm. But what I found most interesting was what happened when this video was submitted to Digg.

During the video, David asks the question: “Is this real life?”

This question spawned a great comment thread on Digg; this is why I love the Internet.

Having trouble watching this video? Watch it on Youtube.

Submissions and comments like this make me forget all the others that are full of arguments and aggression. It’s just fantastic.

It really makes me happy, and all tingly inside, to see communities get together for collaborative projects like this.

Would have been better if the words slid up, like on an iPhone Touch.

I loved the way the out-of-order comments were _deeply_ buried with no easy way for them to to be dugg up and ruin the flow.

I love remixes! And I typically buy them. They are inspiring for those of us who work in the music industry. Its about new sounds. And now people should be getting into the music industry and taking the sounds of the 30s and 40s to heart and making them new. Getting into the industry starts inside the business.
